Description - Bybanen Utbyggding is in the process of preparing the acquisition of the track signaling system for the Bybanen construction stage 5 from the center of Bergen to Åsane. The procurement is planned to be announced at the end of this year, and the cont ract signed with the selected contractor in late summer 2024. The line is planned to be realized in two construction stages. The first stage is approx. 2.5 km double track from the center to Amalie Skrams Vei (Sandviken) with a possible opening in 2028.
