Description - Scope : New Busan Airport was a proposed infrastructure development project to create a new airport to augment or replace the current Busan Gimhae International Airport facility. The project reached a preliminary planning stage, with the South Korean Government working with local governments to evaluate possible locations for the facility. Several cities in South and North Gyeongsang Provinces, including Busan, Daegu and Ulsan were seeking to become the location for the new airport. However in Jun-2016, South Korea opted to expand the existing Busan Gimhae Airport based on a feasibility study by ADP Ingénierie (ADPi).
