Description - Scope : The objective of the Power System Efficiency and Resilience Project for Myanmar is to increase the output and efficiency of power generation and improve the resilience of the power network in support of the government’s program on universal electricity access. The Project has two components. 1. Upgrading Ywama Power Generation Units component will finance the replacement of old gas and steam turbines in the Ywama power plant with a highly efficient, state-of-the-art Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT). The upgrade will be undertaken as a full turnkey project to help address technical and operational challenges during implementation. In addition, technical assistance will be provided
