Description - Description: As a result of the flood event on July 14, 2021, the city of Bad Münstereifel has to restore the bridge structures over the Erft and add-on parts.The residential development on Am Quecken Street was connected to the city sewer system sh ortly before the flood and was therefore supposed to be connected to the Kirspenich sewage treatment plant. Due to the flood event, the collecting pipe for crossing the Erft was torn away from the existing bridge (Schleidtalstrasse) before it was put into operation. On an interim basis, the private small sewage treatment plants that had been in use until then could continue to be used; the interim solution is available until the sewage treatment
